Erkki-Sven Tüür, Paavi Järvi and the Estonian Festival Orchestra have been nominated in numerous categories for Germany’s 2021 Opus Klasssik Awards.

The 2020 recording of “Mythos” on Alpha Classics has been nominated for “World Premiere Recording” and “20/ 21st century Symphonic Recording”. The Estonian Festival Orchestra has been nominated for Orchestra of the Year, Erkki-Sven Tüür for Composer of the Year and Paavo Järvi for Conductor of the Year.

A nine-member jury, consisting of representatives of the music and media industry, ultimately decides on the winners who will be announced at this year’s Opus Klassik Awards Ceremony in Berlin on 10 October.
