After its cancellation last year, the first edition of the newly created Conductors’ Academy under the direction of Paavo Järvi finally takes place in Zürich this week.
Six young conductors have been selected from over 150 applicants and now they are spending four days with Paavo, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zurich and its management. The course blocks, including the final concert, will be broadcast live and the audience has the opportunity to choose their winner.
